What is Honda’s Lane Departure Warning feature?

Honda’s Lane Departure Warning feature is a part of the new Honda Sensing technology. It can detect unindicated lane departures from detected lanes. Alerts will flash and sound to help bring your attention to correcting the lane drift. So, if you’re driving and your vehicle detects that you’re slowly drifting outside of your current lane without using your turn signals, it will alert you in an attempt to get your attention and help you realign your vehicle.

How much does the Lane Departure Warning feature cost?

The Lane Departure Warning feature comes standard if your vehicle is equipped with Honda Sensing. However, if your vehicle does not come with Honda Sensing, you can expect to pay $1,500 to $2,000 to upgrade. The Honda Sensing package comes standard with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS).
