He let me ask 100 questions about the process and never seemed bothered when he had to go speak with managment multiple times due to me being indecisive 😅 Derick made the whole process so simple and easy. I never felt pressured or rushed. I wanted to make sure I purchased a vehicle because I loved it, and not because I needed one, and luckily I found one i fell in love with instantly. I can't express how thankful i am for his assistance in this process. Hopefully i dont need another vehicle anytime soon, but if i ever do ill definitely be coming back here

My 2018 Accord was serviced in a timely & professional manner. Kaiya Wolff was extremely helpful in the service department. She kept me abreast of the timeline for completion, helped facilitate a warranty repair on the AC, and answered all questions related to the work. Germain does it right.

My experience was generally positive except that it was at the end of the day and the other salesmen were celebrating the end of the day in a very loud get together. I had to make some phone calls regarding financing and could not hear the person on the other end of the line because of all the noise in the showroom.

Jason is such a kind and charismatic guy. I spent like 6 months on and off bothering him before pulling the trigger on what I really wanted. He was super patient and so happy that I kept my word about getting my whip through him. Thank you again Jason and Honda Germain Ann Arbor.

Nick Sneed did an outstanding job helping me with service on my 2021 CR-V. He was courteous, highly professional, and took the time to provide regular updates on the status of my vehicle. (To clarify, not all the service reps are like this, but we've had our share over the years.) As usual, we were very pleased with his service on 6/10 and look forward to working with him in the future.

All Honda dealers are not the same. After a very bad experience at another Honda dealer in Ypsilanti, we took our vehicle to Germain and could not have been happier. Jerry in the Service department took care of us. The diagnostics check was quick and thorough. Jerry and team were very honest in their assessment (unlike the other dealer) and fixed the issue our vehicle had. If you're unsure about which dealer to service your vehicle at, it's a no brainer for me that I'd drive the extra mile(s) to Germain. Thank you Jerry!

I had a great experience at Germain Honda of Ann Arbor. Derek Thomason was wonderful to work with. He was patient, kind and professional, helping me find the car that suited my needs. He took time to make me feel comfortable and confident in the choice I was making, offering ample options along the way. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family or anyone who is looking for a car.

The service manager, Doug, at this dealership is an embarrassment to the Honda brand and a direct risk to consumers. Doug falsely advised me that warranty work must be performed at the selling dealer. This is a violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which explicitly prohibits conditioning warranty coverage on the use of a specific dealership. When I cited the law by name, he became combative, accused his own service advisor of lying, dismissed her account as "confusion," and when I requested the name of the owner, responded "you're smart, figure it out yourself" before hanging up on me. He then called me back unprompted. I attempted to de-escalate, stating that we were adults and that he should not be speaking to me the way he was. His response was, "you should look in the mirror." He then continued with name-calling, mockery, and laughter before hanging up on me a second time. My husband was present and witnessed this call. This was not a business dispute — this was targeted verbal abuse directed at a customer who cited her legal rights. It is fully recorded. The vehicle was purchased new at Suburban Honda. The shock issue has been documented across multiple prior service visits at Tamaroff Honda without resolution, and has been logged with Honda corporate on three separate occasions. This dealership had the ability to verify that service history by contacting Tamaroff Honda directly or by contacting Honda corporate, where the complaint history is on record. They elected to do neither. I was left stranded off-site at the mall from approximately 9:00 a.m. until around 3:30 p.m. with no transportation, no status updates, and no proactive communication from the service department. When I asked Doug for a status on my vehicle during his second call, he told me my car was "sitting out front" and to "come get it," and directed me to ask my service advisor if I wanted to know what had been done. No explanation. No summary of work completed or outstanding. By midday I still had no meaningful information, and I located the General Manager's contact information independently and initiated contact myself. It was the General Manager, Corey, who provided the status update the service department had failed to communicate — and it was Corey who ultimately ensured the ADAS repair was completed. Doug had only authorized an oil change. The documented ADAS and suspension defects were not addressed until I escalated over his head. Neither Doug nor Corey offered a loaner vehicle at any point. The only mention of a loaner came from the service advisor, and it was explicitly conditioned on me agreeing to pay out-of-pocket for the shock replacement — despite this being a documented warranty issue. The part also required ordering, meaning the loaner arrangement would have extended into the following day. Conditioning warranty-adjacent assistance on out-of-pocket payment for a covered defect is improper. I purchased this vehicle brand new with 8 miles on it and paid in full. The shock defect has existed since the date of purchase and remains unresolved to this day. It has been documented across multiple service visits at two dealerships and logged with Honda corporate three times. I left this dealership with the ADAS issue addressed only because I escalated to the General Manager myself — and I left with the shock still broken. A safety-related suspension defect, documented repeatedly and acknowledged by Honda, remains unrepaired. Complaints have been filed with Honda corporate, NHTSA, the FTC, and the Attorney General. All interactions are fully documented, including recorded conversations. I am prepared to produce that documentation publicly if this review is disputed or removed. The facts stated are accurate and documented. I stand by this review in its entirety. This review will be available on other platforms as well.

I stopped in to look at a few models. Ahinga was very informative, personable and patient— a great guy to work with even if I don’t buy a car from them!

Jason is awesome! If you need a car, ask for him. However, Jacob in the finance department needs training regarding customer service.

You would never understand how awesome Jason Loren is until you encounter him. When I say 20 stars!! I mean that. He sold me my son’s car. I was starting to feel a little bummed out about some things with my transaction. He came through and saved the day. I was in tears. I brought my 2016 CRV in on short-notice for some long overdue maintenance. Brendan did an excellent job helping me figure everything out as I know nothing about cars, letting me know what concerns were most immediate and which were less of.a priority. Not only that, but a weird issue with an engine light that had been turning on and off in my car had popped up. Brendan figured out the problem and made sure the issue was not one related to safety or could cause further damage to my car. In addition, I had to leave town before they could get the part to fix the issue, Brendan made sure that I left with the code they pulled from my cars computer indicating why the engine light was turned on. This was incedibly helpful as the engine light has turned off once again, and given I will be getting my car serviced in MO (the state I currently live in), I am prepped to tell the mechanic what the exact issue is, even if the light remains off and the computer fails to recognize the issue. I am not sure I explained that properly, but basically, he was able to find out what was causing the engine light to turn on and off, and even though I was unable to get the part in time for a fix at the Germain delaership, he gave me everything I needed to get it fixed at another dealership where I currently live even if the CRV indicates no issue when I am next able to take it in. In all, very happy with my service at Germain and in particular with Brendan, definitely went above and beyond with my limited period of time back in Ann Arbor and made sure I was as minimally inconvenienced as one could be when in need of some pretty significant (and overdue) maintenance work!

Walked through the door and Luis Downey greeted us like a friend and causally asked if we we needed assistance. From there it was friendly banter and comfortable discussion. Would recommend Luis whole heartedly.

Jason Loren was friendly, helpful, and made sure that my questions were addressed in a professional manner. I truly enjoyed working with Jason!

While talking to me options and costs for maintenance on my car, she was respectful and detailed, and after prompted gave me suggestions on what to do first, and what could wait until my next visit. 5 Stars!!

My sister's brakes went out on a Wednesday afternoon. Nick and the staff were able to provide a temporary fix. Instead of scheduling a return visit, Nick added a second tech and the work was completed- all in an unscheduled afternoon appt.
