About The Honda Civic Hatchback
It’s been over a decade since a hatchback version of the Honda Civic was last sold in North America. Honda is making up for lost time with an all-new hatchback aimed at function and fun. The Civic Hatchback is now equipped with five doors and has a sportier stance than its stablemates. Starting at $20,940 MSRP*, you can choose from five different trims that all come standard with a 1.5L Turbo 4 Cylinder Engine. Semi-autonomous features are becoming the norm in this generation of vehicles, and the Civic Hatchback is no different. Honda Sensing™ is available on the higher trim levels.

What’s New For 2018
There are no significant changes to the 2018 Civic Hatchback.
What’s New for 2017
The Civic Hatchback will now be a five-door instead of a three-door. It’s also bigger than the previous model. It’s 177 inches long, 70.86 inches wide, 55.95 inches tall, and has a wheelbase of 106.29 inches. In addition to Honda’s ubiquitous CVT automatic transmission, Honda will pair the 1.5-liter direct-injected VTEC turbocharged four-cylinder with a six-speed manual transmission if you choose. (On the LX and Sport trim levels only)
Honda Civic Hatchback Features
The slight increase in size, as well as its wild exterior features, can be attributed to many different factors. Available LED Headlights give off a unique and sporty signature while offering up plenty of visibility. The Center Outlet Dual Exhaust available on Sport and Touring help accentuate the sporty stance. The 18-inch Alloy Wheels are unique to Hatchback and the two-tone machine-finish and twisted 5-star design make a bold statement.
The Civic Hatchback is quick in real-world driving thanks to a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. To get an extra adrenalin rush, simply add the Center-Mounted Dual Outlet Exhaust which gives you an additional six horsepower for a total of 180 horsepower. And with the available Push Button Start and Remote Engine Start, you’re off to the races.
The Civic Hatchback is not only stylish but functional as well. With 25.7 cubic feet of cargo space, you will be able to fit everything you need for your weekend getaway. And with the best-in-class rear-seat legroom of 36-inches, your passengers will be the most comfortable people on the road.
Although the Hatchback is built for fun, it still offers the safety you expect from a Honda. The available Honda Sensing™ is a suite of safety and driver-assistive technology that is designed to alert you to things you may miss while driving.
Lane Keeping Assist System: For those times you’re distracted and you begin to stray from the center of a detected lane without signaling, this system will adjust the steering and bring you back to the middle.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): This convenient system will help you maintain a set following interval on the highway, so you don’t have to manually change your speed.
Collision Mitigation Braking System™: This system helps stop your vehicle when it senses an unavoidable collision with a vehicle detected in front of you.
Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM): In the case where your vehicle is drifting too close to the side of the detected roadway without a turning signal, you will be alerted with rapid vibrations on the steering wheel.
