Critic Reviews

Offering an accomplished mix of comfort and dynamic enjoyment, the Civic Coupe is one of the better front-wheel-drive performers out there. The precise steering system has enough weighting dialed into it to let the driver know what the front wheels are doing, there’s good grip, and the coupe’s tighter dimensions than the Civic sedan make it even more enjoyable to drive quickly.” — CarBuzz
The best thing about the Civic Coupe is that it’s as sweet and solid as any other Civic model. If you only need two doors, it’s a well-rounded option that’s loaded with features and tech.” — Roadshow by CNET

Proven Performance

Ranging from fuel-saving to thrilling, two proven powertrain options help invigorate your commute on the 2020 Civic Coupe. LX and Sport models are powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission and an optional CVT help contribute to the exceptional efficiency of the Civic Coupe. Select the EX or Touring trim levels to receive a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder with a peak output of 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. This potent engine offers some of the best fuel economy in its class, with maximum ratings of 31 city / 40 highway** on EX models. The Civic Coupe has remained a hit with buyers for decades thanks to its sporty character and nimble handling. This legacy continues with the Civic Coupe Sport which features boldly-styled 18-inch wheels, exclusive shock absorbers, stiffer front stabilizer bar, and rear lower control arms.

Driver-Focused Interior

Building on the success of last year, the 2019 Civic Coupe adds more refinement inside the interior for a more engaging drive. A volume knob and physical buttons on the available Display Audio system improves tactile feedback and makes it easier to access available Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration. Additional premium features offered inside the cabin include dual-zone automatic climate control with revised fan speed buttons, embedded navigation, leather-trimmed seating surfaces, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Optional 60/40 split rear seatbacks fold down to create a massive 12.1 cubic feet of cargo capacity inside the Civic Coupe. The Civic Coupe also delivers a more refined driving experience than ever before thanks to additional sound insulation found in the floor, trunk, rear fenders, and front fenders.

2020 Honda Civic Coupe Honda Sensing Safety

Honda Sensing® Safety Features

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) – Using a small camera affixed to the top of the windshield, the Civic Coupe monitors and detects vehicles in front of you. Should this system determine that you’re headed for a potential collision with a detected vehicle, audible and visual alerts will warn you. If you still fail to act accordingly, the brakes will automatically be applied.

Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) – Once a collision with a detected vehicle is inevitable, CMBS works to bring your Civic Coupe safely to a stop. An alert will sound followed by brake pressure being automatically applied.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – Long-distance travel is made easy thanks to this system. It’s able to maintain a preset following distance interval on the highway by adjusting your speed accordingly.

Road Departure Mitigation System (RDMS) – A small camera at the front of the Civic Coupe is able to detect road markings. At speeds between 45 and 90 MPH, the system will detect if you begin to drift off the road without using your turn signal. In response, the system can apply corrective steering and braking to keep you safely headed in the right direction.

Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) – This innovative feature reduces driver fatigue and keeps you properly centered in your lane. If your Civic Coupe starts to stray from the center of a detected lane without signaling, corrective steering adjustments help bring the vehicle back into the middle of the lane.

Lane Departure Warning (LDS) – LDS works to detect unindicated lane changes. Audible and visual alerts help alert you to correct the lane drift.
